U.N. BODY VOTES TEMPLE MOUNT NO LONGER JEWISH
'What's next? A decision denying the connection between peanut butter and jelly?'
Leo Hohmann - October 13, 2016 - WND - UNESCO, the United Nations committee responsible for “cultural understanding,” has given preliminary approval to a resolution that denies the documented historic Jewish connection to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall.
The vote was 24-6 with another 26 nations abstaining. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu immediately condemned the resolution as “the theater of the absurd.”
The proposed resolution, submitted by seven Muslim nations under the title “Item 25: Occupied Palestine” refers to parts of the site by the Muslim terms, “Al-Aqsa Mosque” and “Haram al-Sharif” and emphasizes the historic and religious significance of the site to Islam, but simply ignores evidence of Jewish history at the same site.
The document refers to Israel throughout as “the occupying Power” and accuses it of “aggressions and illegal measures” at the holy site.
UNESCO “firmly deplores the continuous storming of Al-Aq?a Mosque/Al-?aram Al-Sharif by Israeli right-wing extremists and uniformed forces, and urges Israel, the occupying Power, to take necessary measures to prevent provocative abuses that violate the sanctity and integrity of Al-Aq?a Mosque/Al-?aram Al-Sharif.”
The resolution also condemns Israel’s construction work in the Western Wall area by referring to it by its Muslim name “Al-Buraq Plaza,” a reference to the mythical unicorn that transported the prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Jerusalem.
In reality, Muhammad never set foot in Jerusalem or the Temple Mount.

ART HISTORIAN: UN RESOLUTION AND MET EXHIBIT AIM TO 'DELEGITIMIZE ISRAEL'
October 10, 2016 - CBN News - A UN resolution, along with an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, attempt to redefine the identity of Jerusalem, according to an art historian.
Victoria C. Gardner Coates made that claim in an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal, headlined, "Rewriting the History of Jerusalem, For Unesco and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Israel's capital is anything but Jewish."
The executive board of Unesco, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, will vote on a resolution called "Occupied Palestine" this week in Paris.
According to Coates, the measure "attempts to redefine the capital of Israel as a supranational city to which Muslims, Christians and Jews have equal claim."
Coates believes the resolution and the exhibition at The Met, entitled, "Jerusalem 1000-1400: Every People Under Heaven," are efforts amounting to "historical revisionism."
Coates believes the exhibition's theme is "all claims to the city were equal" during the medieval period.
"The visitor is encouraged to conclude that if only adherents of the three major religions -- Christianity, Judaism and Islam -- would understand themselves as citizens of Jerusalem, a city transcending national boundaries, this utopia could be recaptured," she said. Coates refutes the idea that a utopia existed in medieval Jerusalem. She wrote that during 1000-1400, Christians and Muslims successively dominated Jerusalem, and that during this time period, one of the smallest Jewish populations in the history of the city lived there. Coates wrote that the exhibition is part of a "contemporary political agenda to delegitimize Israel."

DEFYING UNESCO AND RAMALLAH, FOREIGN LAWMAKERS TOUR JEWISH HEBRON
Despite intense Palestinian opposition, a group of 15 parliamentarians from across the globe visits the Tomb of the Patriarchs for the first time
By Raphael Ahren October 20, 2016 - HEBRON, West Bank — The UNESCO resolution approved last week did more than shortchange Jewish and Christian ties to Jerusalem. The text also has a section on the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron, which it calls a “Palestine site.” While the resolution acknowledges that the building — which it refers to as “Al-Haram Al-Ibrahimi/Tomb of the Patriarchs” — is of “religious significance for Judaism, Christianity and Islam,” it declares it to be “an integral part of Palestine.”
On Wednesday, one day after UNESCO’s executive board ratified the controversial resolution, 15 Christian parliamentarians from Europe, Africa and Latin America visited the Tomb of the Patriarchs and other parts of Jewish Hebron in a striking affirmation of support for the Jewish claim to the Holy Land. The lawmakers, part of a network of 35 pro-Israel parliamentary caucuses counting over 1,000 members, were treated to a guided tour through Jewish Hebron and were hosted by the community’s spokespeople and other pro-settlement leaders. The foreign dignitaries, who hailed from countries including Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa and Uruguay, seemed empathetic. “This land belongs to the Jews, and especially this place,” said Reverend Malani Mtanga, an MP from Malawi. “We respect this land as a place that belongs to Abraham. It was bought by and belongs to Abraham and is to be respected as such and protected as such.”
Malani Mtanga, an MP from Malawi, speaks with an Orthodox Jewish man in Hebron, October 19, 2016. (Avi Hayun)
UNESCO’s resolution is not only unfair to the Jews but to the whole world, since it also denies Christianity’s roots in the Holy Land, Mtanga told reporters on the steps leading to the site, revered by Jews as the final resting place of biblical patriarchs and matriarchs Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebecca, Jacob and Leah, and by Muslims because of Abraham’s significance as a Quranic prophet. “UNESCO has no power to erase the history of this land.”
The foreign MPs were visiting on the sidelines of the annual Israel Allies Foundation conference, which is co-sponsored by the World Jewish Congress and has for years brought Christian and Jewish pro-Israeli lawmakers from various countries to visit the Holy Land during Sukkot, the festival during which, according to Jewish tradition, the nations of the world ascend to Jerusalem. But Wednesday’s trip was the first time a group of foreign parliamentarians visited the Jewish community of Hebron, organizers said.
Indeed, the Palestine Liberation Organization tried to block the visit, even lobbying the MPs’ host governments. South African lawmaker Kenneth Meshoe said he felt the Palestinians’ pressure, but insisted he had nothing but bitter scorn for it.
“The Palestinian Authority reminded me of the apartheid days when I was not allowed to travel the way I wanted to,” he said. Like all participants, Meshoe, the president of the African Christian Democratic Party — which currently has three out of 400 seats in the country’s National Assembly — expressed outrage at UNESCO’s Jerusalem resolution and vowed to tell his government that they were hypocritical in supporting it.

ARAFAT'S NEPHEW SAID TAPPED TO LEAD PA AFTER ABBAS
Nasser al-Kidwa reportedly emerging as next head of Palestinian Authority as Arab states push 81-year-old president to name successor
By Times of Israel staff - October 6, 2016 - Nephew of the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat has reportedly been tapped to lead the Palestinian Authority as a successor to the aging Mahmoud Abbas.
Nasser al-Kidwa, the son of Arafat’s sister, has been emerging as next-in-line to lead the Palestinian Authority, according to a Channel 2 report Wednesday, as a number of Arab states have been urging Abbas to name a successor so as to avoid chaos in the Palestinian governing body in the event of his resignation or inability to lead.
According to a Channel 2 report, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi and Jordanian King Abdullah II are at the head of the initiative and have spoken to Abbas personally while Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates sent representatives to discuss the issue with the PA president, who celebrated his 81st birthday this year.
The four countries’ leaders reportedly assured Abbas that his children would be protected when the transition occurs.
Kidwa, 63, is a member of Fatah and has served as a former Palestinian foreign minister and a former deputy UN-Arab League envoy to Syria. He is head of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, established after Arafat’s death in 2004.
According to the report, Mohammad Dahlan, who has sometimes been touted as the successor and was once regarded as one of Fatah’s most prominent figures, will not take over the PA. Long at odds with Abbas, he was expelled from Fatah in 2011 following allegations of corruption and murder and now lives in the United Arab Emirates.

US INVOKES PERES LEGACY IN BITING CONDEMNATION OF SETTLEMENT EXPANSION
State Department slams approval of 98 new homes in Shiloh for Amona outpost evacuees, saying move will ‘distance Israel from many of its partners’
By Times of Israel staff and AFP October 5, 2016 - The US State Department issued a biting condemnation Wednesday of Israeli plans to expand a northern West Bank settlement in order to house residents living in homes built illegally in another settlement and which are slated for demolition. “We strongly condemn the Israeli government’s recent decision to advance a plan that would create a significant new settlement deep in the West Bank,” State Department spokesman Mark Toner said in a statement. The stern rebuke also cited the peace efforts of former president Shimon Peres, who died last week and whose funeral on Friday was attended by President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry. Toner’s statement was unusually harsh, effectively accusing Israel of attempting to hide the expansion.
“The retroactive authorization of nearby illegal outposts, or redrawing of local settlement boundaries, does not change the fact that this approval contradicts previous public statements by the Government of Israel that it had no intention of creating new settlements,” the statement read. “And this settlement’s location deep in the West Bank, far closer to Jordan than Israel, would link a string of outposts that effectively divide the West Bank and make the possibility of a viable Palestinian state more remote.” The statement added: “Proceeding with this new settlement, which could include up to 300 units, would further damage the prospects for a two state solution.”

ISRAEL REJECTS US CRITICISM, SAYS NO NEW SETTLEMENTS PLANNED ISRAELI OUTPOST
Foreign Ministry insists new construction castigated by Washington is within existing community of Shiloh, and will house residents of outpost tapped for demolition
By Raphael Ahren October 5, 2016
Israel on Wednesday rejected harsh criticism from the United States over West Bank building, saying that the controversial construction newly authorized is not a new settlement. “The 98 housing units approved in Shiloh do not constitute a ‘new settlement’,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. “This housing will be built on state land in the existing settlement of Shiloh and will not change its municipal boundary or geographic footprint.”
The US State Department earlier issued a biting condemnation of Israeli plans to expand the northern
West Bank settlement. The new construction will house the residents of Amona, an illegal outpost scheduled for demolition on the orders of the Supreme Court. Israel approved the construction of the new housing units to compensate homeowners of Amona ahead of its court-ordered evacuation. The plan calls for two phases of construction, with a further 200 units to be approved after the first round of 98 homes is completed.
The Foreign Ministry also reiterated Israel’s stance that the settlements are not the main cause of the stalled peace process with the Palestinians. “The real obstacle to peace is not the settlements – a final status issue that can and must be resolved in negotiations between the parties — but the persistent Palestinian rejection of a Jewish state in any boundaries,” the statement said. http://www.timesofisrael.com/israel-rejects-us-criticism-says-no-new-settlements-planned/

PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY DELAYS LOCAL ELECTIONS INDEFINITELY
UN’s Mideast envoy hails decision in wake of court ruling to suspend Gaza voting, calls for Fatah-Hamas unity
By Times of Israel staff October 4, 2016 - The Palestinian Authority on Tuesday suspended municipal elections until further notice, a day after the PA’s High Court ruled that the upcoming vote could only go ahead in the West Bank and not the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.
On the wake of the court decision, the Palestinian Central Elections Commission on Monday had urged PA President Mahmoud Abbas to delay the municipal elections by at least six months.
The commission said a delay would be “in the Palestinian interest” in light of the ruling, which ended hopes of the first municipal elections since 2006 that included both Hamas and the Fatah-dominated PA. Hamas won those elections, sparking a conflict that led to near-civil war in Gaza the following year.
“The court orders the implementation of the government’s decision on the holding of local elections,” court president Hisham al-Hatoo ruled Monday before a packed courtroom in the West Bank city of Ramallah.
Palestinians demonstrate in front of the High Court in the West Bank city of Ramallah on September 21, 2016, calling on authorities not to postpone the local elections.
The UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Nickolay Mladenov, later Tuesday praised the decision to postpone the elections, saying that the vote should be held across the Palestinian territories simultaneously and calling for Palestinian unity. “I welcome today’s decision to postpone local elections. It is in the national interest of the Palestinian people that when such elections take place, they be organized both in the West Bank and Gaza,” Mladenov said in a statement released to the media. “I urge all Palestinian bodies to work together in good faith to overcome internal divisions and uphold democracy,” he added. http://www.timesofisrael.com/palestinian-authority-delays-local-elections-indefinitely/

ERDOGAN: ISLAMIC WORLD SHOULD 'UNITE'
October 3, 2016 at 3:58 am | Published in: Europe & Russia, Middle East, News, Saudi Arabia, Turkey
Speaking to Rotana, a Saudi-based television channel, Turkey’s president Recip Tayep has called for unity in the Muslim world and warned against attacks from outside:
Turkey and Saudi Arabia are being targeted. We see that all pitfalls and plans are pointed against the Islamic world
The president also commented on the situation in Syria and Iraq and Turkey’s ongoing campaign against Daesh. He confirmed that Turkey seeks no long-term territorial gains in Syria – in spite of a major push by Turkish and US forces known as ‘oporation Euphrates Shield’ – but instead he is motivated by an “Islamic and emotional duty” to care for refugees and to fight against the Islamist extremist group.
He also commented that Mosul – which is currently a Daesh Stronghold – should be liberated and that only Sunnis should remain, After Mosul will be rescued from Daesh, only Sunni Arabs, Turkmen and Sunni Kurds should remain there.

DONALD TRUMP AND MIKE PENCE WILL MAKE SATELLITE VIDEO ADDRESSES AT A REPUBLICAN PARTY RALLY IN JERUSALEM NEXT WEEK THAT WILL STRESS THE UNITY OF THE CITY
Republicans Overseas Israel announced it wednesday. By Times of Israel staff October 19, 2016 11:09 pm
Several hundred people are expected to attend the October 26 rally, which will be held at an unspecified location near the Temple Mount under the headline of “strengthening Jerusalem,” the organizers said.
The group’s statement to announce the rally highlights this week’s approval of a controversial UNESCO resolution that effectively denies historic Jewish and Christian ties to the holy sites in Jerusalem. The rally intends to send a message that the Republican Party “is united behind need to safeguard the unity of Jerusalem, and to prevent any political interference regarding the historic identity of the city,” the statement said.

Mike Pence holding a Trump sign with the candidate's name transliterated into Hebrew, and an awkwardly translated 'Make America Great Again' slogan, in a photo released September 7, 2016.
The UNESCO resolution, formally approved on Tuesday, refers to the Temple Mount and Western Wall only by their Arabic names, condemns Israel as “the occupying power,” and ignores Jewish and Christian ties to the Old City and its holy sites. Trump and Pence will address the gathering by video, the statement said, adding that leading Israeli and US Republican political figures had been invited to attend. Both Trump and his rival Hillary Clinton condemned the UNESCO resolution. The Republican branded the initial vote last week a “one-sided attempt to ignore Israel’s 3,000-year bond to its capital city” and “further evidence of the enormous anti-Israel bias” at the United Nations. The Clinton campaign, meanwhile, slammed the motion as “outrageous” and pledged that, as president, the candidate would “defend Israel against biased resolutions like these.” http://www.timesofisrael.com/trump-pence-to-give-video-addresses-at-gop-rally-in-jerusalem/

PA: WE'LL MAKE LIFE MISERABLE FOR TRUMP IF HE MOVES EMBASSY
PA's UN envoy says the PA will act at the UN if President-elect follows through on his promise to move the American Embassy to Jerusalem.
Elad Benari - November 13, 2016 - If President-elect Donald Trump follows through on his promise to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, the Palestinian Arabs will “make life miserable” for the United States at the United Nations, the Palestinian Authority’s ambassador to the United Nations is threatening.
“If people attack us by moving the embassy to Jerusalem, which is a violation of Security Council resolutions, it is a violation of resolution 181 of the UN general assembly that was drafted by the U.S. … it means they are showing belligerency towards us … If they do that nobody should blame us for unleashing all of the weapons that we have in the UN to defend ourselves and we have a lot of weapons in the UN,” the envoy, Riyad Mansour, said on Friday, according to Haaretz.
Mansour said that the Palestinian Authority response to a move of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem could not be a Security Council resolution because the United States would veto it.
“Maybe I can't have resolutions in the Security Council but I can make their lives miserable every day with precipitating a veto on my admission as a member state. Italy in 1949 received 3 consecutive vetoes on its admission to the UN from the Soviet Union. These are the kind of things that I can do,” he threatened.

KISSINGER: TO PREVENT REGIONAL EXPLOSION, US MUST THWART IRANIAN EXPANSIONISM
By Barney Breen-Portnoy - November 11, 2016
The biggest challenge facing the Middle East is the “potential domination of the region by an Iran that is both imperial and jihadist,” former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said at a New York City gathering on Thursday.
“[America must] make it clear that we are opposed to a further territorial expansion of Iran and what we are asking of the Iranians is to act like a nation, and not like crusaders,” Kissinger stated in remarks made at the America-Israel Friendship League’s 2016 Partners for Democracy Awards Dinner, where the 93-year-old statesman was the guest of honor. “What we have to see to is that Iran does not achieve such a dominant position that the whole region explodes.” Referring to the results of Tuesday’s presidential election, Kissinger described Republican Donald Trump’s poll-defying victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton a “revolution against conventional wisdom.”

IRAN EXPERT: ISLAMIC REPUBLIC FEARS IT COULD BE THE ‘BIG LOSER' FROM TRUMP'S VICTORY
By Barney Breen-Portnoy - Iran fears it could be the “big loser” from Donald Trump’s surprising victory over Hillary Clinton in Tuesday’s presidential election, an expert on the Islamic Republic told The Algemeiner on Thursday.
“I think the reactions we’ve seen from Iran — the urging of Trump to maintain the nuclear deal, the warning that he can’t roll it back — suggest that they’re worried about the fact that existing US policy, which is very favorable to Iran, could change pretty substantially over the course of the next several months,” Ilan Berman — of the Washington, DC-based conservative think tank the American Foreign Policy Council - said.
Looking ahead at what Trump’s Iran policy might be, Berman noted, “You need to figure out what’s going to change and what’s not going to change. What’s not going to change, unfortunately, is the nuclear deal itself, because even though Trump has talked a lot about renegotiating or rolling back the deal, the reality is that the lion’s share of the benefits from the deal have already been conferred to Iran. Also, the deal is multilateral, so even if the US walks away, it doesn’t mean that our partners in the P5+1 will do so as well.”

Islamic State militants have summarily killed scores of civilians in the Iraqi city of Mosul in recent days, sometimes using...
“So if the deal is going to be with us in some fashion for some time,” Berman continued, “we have to be thinking seriously about what comes next. And what comes next, hopefully, is a strategy that pushes back against a rising Iran regionally. This will require military resources, political will and, frankly, a more forward stance on responding to Iranian proxies like Hezbollah.” https://www.algemeiner.com/2016/11/10/iran-expert-islamic-republic-fears-it-could-be-the-big-loser-from-trumps-victory/

ANGER RISING IN INDIA AS BANKS SLOW TO DISPENSE CASH TO MILLIONS
Sanjeev Miglani and Nidhi Verma | Reuters | November 12, 2016
NEW DELHI: Anger rose across India on Saturday as banks struggled to dispense cash after the government withdrew large denomination notes in a shock move aimed at uncovering billions of dollars of unaccounted wealth hidden from the taxman. Hundreds of thousands of people stood outside banks for a third day for long hours trying to replace 500 and 1,000 rupee bank notes that were abolished earlier in the week. These bills made up more than 80 percent of the currency in circulation, leaving millions of people without cash and threatening to grind large parts of the cash-driven economy to a halt. “There is chaos everywhere,” said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and a bitter foe of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said Modi’s move had upended the lives of the poor and working while the rich — whose wealth he had sought to target — had found loopholes to get around the new rules. People argued and banged the glass doors of a branch of Standard Chartered bank in southern Delhi after the security guards blocked entry, saying there were already too many people inside the bank. http://www.arabnews.com/node/1009826/world

FIRST PUBLIC PRAYER FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP HELD IN JERUSALEM [WATCH]
By Tsivya Fox - November 9, 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yo6FmN96Km8
Rabbi Tuly Weisz, director of Israel365 and publisher of Breaking Israel News offered the first public prayer
for President-Elect Donald Trump in Jerusalem at the Bridges for Peace solidarity conference on Wednesday.
“And He changeth the times and the seasons; He removeth kings, and setteth up kings; He giveth wisdom unto
the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.” Daniel 2:21 (The Israel Bible™)
Rabbi Weisz spoke at the Bridges for Peace gathering in Jerusalem. Entering the hall, he was informed that
Donald Trump had just been elected President of the United States. Following the contentious campaign which left many wondering what had become of the democratic process in America, it was clear that the diverse group of over 100 mostly Christian participants from eight nations, were anxiously waiting words of clarity from Rabbi Weisz.
With UNESCO’s recent endorsement that Jews and Christians have no connection to the Temple Mount and continued
negative reports about the Holy Land, the event was called “Encountering the Truth About Israel: 40 Year
Celebration of the Dispatch From Jerusalem”.

BETRAYED AMERICA'S DAY OF RECKONING EXPOSED
By JL Yastine - November 11, 2016 - Recently, a rogue economist walked into my office, sat down and with a calm voice that did not waver, said: “They betrayed us.”
Knowing that this economist has met with and counseled the world’s most powerful leaders including former presidents Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr. and Bill Clinton, I immediately gave him my full attention.
The rogue economist has served our country faithfully for over 40 years. “This is a bigger financial threat than Islamic terrorism or a Nuclear Iran,” he explained. Our fiercest enemies and closest allies have just formed a 57-nation alliance. They have one goal: to dethrone America as the world’s financial superpower.”
Taking documents from his briefcase, this man revealed how this “alliance” has already obtained a $47 trillion
financial arsenal — 300% larger than that of the United States. He exposed their exact plot, naming names and pulling reams of intelligence from his briefcase … diplomatic cables, photos, data sheets and more…
My stomach turned as he revealed why the financial fallout from this betrayal could equate to three Great Depressions — striking all at once — sending tens of millions of Americans from Starbucks lines to breadlines. “Life savings will be vaporized by 80%. The stock market will plummet by 60%. Real estate will fall by 50%,” he warned. “Millions of seniors will go from luxurious retirement communities to government-sponsored nursing homes as Social Security and Medicare get slashed.” He then handed me a video saying, “This reveals everything.” I posted that exact video right here. A poll by Israel365 has found that pro-Israel Evangelical Christian voters are maintaining their strong support for presidential candidate Donald Trump during the contentious US election.
In an email survey sent to 150,000 Israel365 daily newsletter subscribers, Israel365 asked readers which candidate he or she felt was better for Israel: Republican Donald Trump, or Democrat Hillary Clinton. According to Shlomo Schreibman, Vice President of the Israel Media Network, which specializes in marketing to the pro-Israel Evangelical crowd, “These findings are very interesting because while we knew a majority of Evangelicals support Trump, we were surprised by the overwhelming 90 percent support for Donald Trump.”
The Israel365 poll was sent on three dates in batches of 50,000, with emails going out on September 27, September 30, and October 20; voting data was captured daily to observe trends. The majority of participants identified themselves as pro-Israel Evangelical Christians. A total of 6,897 people responded to the poll. image: A consistent average of 90 percent of those polled said they believed Trump was the better candidate for Israel, with 10 percent choosing Hillary Clinton. REACTION TO TRUMP VICTORY POURS IN FROM JEWISH AND CHRISTIAN GROUPS
By JNS - November 10, 2016 - “Trust in Hashem with all thy heart, and lean not upon thine own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 (The Israel Bible™) Reaction poured in Wednesday from pro-Israel Jewish and Christian organizations on Donald Trump’s upset victory in the presidential election, with most groups praising the president-elect for his commitment to the
Jewish state. “We congratulate President-elect Trump on his election victory and welcome his clear commitment to be a
president for all Americans and to “bind the wounds of division” after a long and bruising campaign,” said Stephen M. Greenberg, chairman, and Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman & CEO, of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.
“We look forward to working with President-elect Trump and his advisors in the transition before his inauguration and in the years to come during his presidency on the issues facing our country, as well as of specific concern to the American Jewish community including strengthening the special U.S.-Israel relationship, the rise of anti-Semitism and the security of the Jewish people at home and abroad,” added Greenberg and Hoenlein.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Rabbi Marvin Hier, dean and founder, and Associate Dean Rabbi Abraham Cooper
praised Trump’s stated policy on Jerusalem. “We are buoyed by Donald Trump’s unambiguous commitment to a strong and safe democratic Israel and his recognition of Jerusalem as its eternal and undivided capital,” they said.
“We look forward to working with President Trump on a wide range of other issues including Iran, international
terrorism, human rights, online hate and the burgeoning scourge of anti-Semitism here at home and globally,” Hier and Cooper added.

TRUMP UPSET VICTORY DIVINELY SENT TO BEGIN MESSIANIC PROCESS: RABBIS
By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz - November 9, 2016
“Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a prince and commander to the peoples.” Isaiah 55:4 (The Israel Bible™)
Donald Trump’s acceptance speech after winning the election on November 8, 2016. (Breaking Israel News)
Donald Trump’s upset victory in the presidential race over Hillary Clinton, who was heavily favored in virtually all the pre-election polls, seemed to defy the laws of nature, reason and sense. Several rabbis have an explanation, however: it was, quite simply, the will of God.
Rabbi Yosef Berger. (Courtesy David’s Tomb)
As the rabbi who oversees the final resting place of King David on Mount Zion, Rabbi Yosef Berger is intimately connected to the spirituality of kingship. For him it was clear what tipped the scales in favor of the Republican underdog.
“I have known for months that Donald Trump would win the elections,” Rabbi Berger told Breaking Israel News. “The gematria (numerology) of his name is Moshiach (Messiah). He is connected to the Messianic process which is happening right now. When he promised to move the American Embassy to Jerusalem, he attached himself to the power of Moshiach, which gave him the boost he needed. If you separate from Jerusalem, disaster will follow.”
When taking the gematria into account, it was clear that Trump had a spiritual edge. As Rabbi Berger pointed out, the gematria for Donald Trump in Hebrew is 424, which is equal to the gematria of “Messiah for the House of David” . The Ben Ish Chai, an authority on Jewish law and master kabbalist who lived in Baghdad 150 years ago, interpreted the number 212 as a difficult time for Israel before the Final Redemption. Trump’s gematria is twice that, signifying an ongoing Messiah process.

(Facebook) Donald Trump’s chief Israel adviser Jason Greenblatt on Thursday told Army Radio that his boss “does not define settlements as obstacle to peace, and he would prove this by pointing to the situation in the Gaza Strip, where the Jewish settlements were evacuated and peace still has not arrived.”
Regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Greenblatt suggested that “Trump thinks Israel is in a difficult situation and must defend herself. Peace must arrive through a bilateral initiative and he has no plan to get involved in it.” Regarding the UNESCO resolution ignoring the Jewish connection to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, Greenblat said the President Elect recognizes the right of the Jewish nation to its eternal capital Jerusalem and is disgusted by the resolution.
To keep things balanced, Army Radio also interviewed former US Ambassador to Israel Martin Indyk, who said, with noted condescension, “If the Israeli right knows what Trump position regarding Israel is, I believe they know more than Trump does.”
Indyk urged Israelis to take the President Elect’s promises with a grain of salt, since his position on Israel “is quite unclear, he says different things to different groups. We simply don’t know.” According to Indyk, Trump will follow all past presidents who promised to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. “He is not the first presidential candidate to promise this, which is why I won’t be surprised if he doesn’t do it,” Indyk said.
